How does the referral program work?
Share your link. When a business you sent becomes a client, you earn 5% of what they pay us in their first 12 months, as account credit or cash.
Anyone 18 or older can join, client or not. You get a personal link, and when a business you send our way becomes a client, you earn 5% of what they pay us in their first 12 months.
Joining
Sign up on the referral page. We email you your link and a sign-in link for your referrals page, where you can see who signed up through you, what you’ve earned and what’s on its way. There’s no password: enter your email on your referrals page any time and we’ll send a fresh sign-in link.
What counts
- The business opens your link and, within 60 days, buys a package or plan, sends us a message, or books a discovery call, then goes on to work with us.
- Or they mention your name or email when they get in touch, and we tie them to you.
- They have to be a new client. Someone who has already paid us, or was already talking to us about a project, doesn’t count. Neither does your own business.
What you earn
5% of every payment the client makes in the 12 months from their first one: websites, add-ons, audits, care plans, ads management and community management. A one-off Starter website at $850 earns you 5% of that once; a monthly plan earns you 5% of each month’s bill for 12 months.
Ad spend never counts, because clients pay Google, Meta and TikTok directly, not us. Sales tax and refunds don’t count either.
Getting paid
- Each earning waits 30 days, in case the payment is refunded.
- Then it’s ready, and we pay out what’s ready once a month.
- You choose how, and can change it on your referrals page: - Account credit, any amount. If you have a monthly plan with us, it comes off your next bill automatically. Otherwise it comes off your next invoice or order. - Cash, once you have at least $25 ready. Before the first cash payout we ask for a W-9, and cash payouts may be reported to the IRS on a Form 1099.
If a payment is refunded after you were paid for it, the difference comes off your next payout.
Sharing your link
Be honest about what we do and what it costs, and don’t send your link in bulk or cold emails, texts or DMs. The full rules are on the referral page.
Privacy
Your referrals page shows each business you referred, whether they became a client, and what you earned. It doesn’t show what they bought or their contact details. See How do you handle my data?.
