What happens in Discord server setup?

How we plan, build and hand over a Discord server, and what's included.

Discord server setup ($300) builds a Discord server around your game, stream, team or business. It works for a brand-new server or a rebuild of one that grew messy.

What's included

  • Channels and categories planned around your game, stream or team
  • Roles and permissions set up safely, so nobody gets more access than they should
  • Welcome screen, onboarding questions and member verification
  • Rules, AutoMod filters and a moderation log
  • Bots for moderation, welcome messages, self-assigned roles, support tickets and stream or video alerts
  • Server icon and welcome graphics from your artwork
  • A short staff guide for you and your moderators
  • One round of changes
  • Live in about 1 week

How it goes

  1. Kickoff call. We talk through who the server is for, what members should do there, your tone and your rules.
  2. Server plan. We send the channel list, roles and rules to your client portal for approval.
  3. Build. We set up channels, permissions, onboarding, AutoMod and bots, and test it all with a test account.
  4. Walkthrough. A short call with you and your moderators to show how everything works.
  5. Changes and handover. One round of changes, then the staff guide in your portal.

Who owns it?

You do. If we create the server for you, we transfer ownership to you at handover. See How do we give you access to our Discord?.
