What happens if my website goes down?

If you’re on a care plan:

1. Our monitor checks your site every 15 minutes. Two failed checks in a row counts as down, so a one-second blip doesn’t raise an alarm.
2. We get an alert straight away, and so do you (you can ask us to turn your emails off).
3. We find the cause and fix it. If the problem is with your hosting company, we deal with them for you where we can.
4. When it’s back, you get another email saying how long it was down.

Every outage is listed on your Website care page and in your monthly report.
