Domains and hosting: what’s included?
Your domain and hosting aren’t in the package price, and they stay in your name.
Your website packages cover design and building. Your domain name and web hosting are separate, and we set them up in your own name, so you always own them.
If you already have a domain
Great. At kickoff we’ll ask you to log in to where you bought it (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Squarespace and so on) so we can point it at your new website. We never move it out of your name.
If you don’t have one
We’ll help you choose one and buy it in your name at kickoff. A .com usually costs about $10–20 a year, paid to the registrar.
Hosting
We recommend reliable hosting for your package and help you set it up in your name. Online stores may run on a store platform with its own monthly fee; we’ll talk through options at kickoff.
Business email (like you@yourbusiness.com) comes from your email provider, not from us. We can help you set it up at kickoff.
