How long does a website take?
Timelines for each package, and what speeds things up.
| Package | Typical time to launch |
|---|---|
| One-page website | about 2 weeks |
| Starter website | about 3 weeks |
| Business website | about 4–5 weeks |
| Online store | about 6 weeks |
The clock starts once we have what we need from you: your logo, photos, text and any logins (see What do you need from me for my website?). We give you the exact dates at your kickoff call.
What speeds it up
- Sending your content early. Waiting on content is the most common delay.
- Replying to drafts within a couple of days.
- Rush delivery ($150), which moves your project to the front of the queue.
What slows it down
If we don’t hear from you for 60 days during a project, we may close it. The work done so far is still yours. See our terms of sale.
